Marine Exchange of Alaska

The Marine Exchange of Alaska (MXAK) is a non-profit maritime organization headquartered in Juneau, Alaska, that serves a vital, interconnected role within the Greater Bay Area's broader Pacific shipping corridor. Established in 2001 by a retired U.S. Coast Guard captain, the organization brokers real-time information to ensure safe, secure, and environmentally sound commercial maritime operations. While physically based in Alaska, MXAK directly impacts Bay Area logistics through its joint operation of Pacific Maritime Management Services (PacMMS).
