Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO)

The Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO) is a vital, highly secure U.S. Army military installation located on a 6,600-acre site along the south shore of Suisun Bay in Concord, California. Originally constructed by the U.S. Navy during World War II as part of the Concord Naval Weapons Station, the facility officially transferred to the Army in 2008 following a Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process. It serves as the Department of Defense’s primary West Coast strategic deepwater ammunition port.
